Frequently asked questions

No. Noji, formerly called Anki Pro, is a separate app from a different company. The official Anki is free on the web, Windows, Mac, Linux and Android, and AnkiMobile costs $24.99 once on the iPhone.

No. You can study every set as often as you like, in every study mode, including the 3 sets you make before you pay. Spaced repetition suggests what to review each day, but it never locks you out.

No. Lexie cannot read .apkg files or Noji decks. Lexie makes new study sets from your source material instead: drop in your notes, slides or a PDF and it writes the cards.

No. You can make 3 study sets and study them without limits before you pay. After that, Lexie Pro costs 9,99 € a month or 59,99 € a year, or you can pay once: 35 € for 5 months or 69 € for 12 months. The one-time passes do not renew. One purchase works on the web and in the app.

We collected the one-to-three-star reviews of Noji and Anki Pro on the App Store in the US, UK, Canada and Australia and on Google Play in English, posted between January 2025 and September 2026, 636 in total. We searched each review for words about each topic, such as the price or the daily limit, and counted the matches. The counts are approximate, and one review can count in several topics. About half of the reviews date from the outage in May and June 2025.

On the web, yes. You sign in with your email and a six-digit code before Lexie makes your first set, and there is no password. The app works without an account.
